This is a regular place for caminho de Santiago, with typical simple rooms. The lady even offered to wash my clothes. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton, but then again, what are you doing here? If you are doing the Caminho de Santiago, this is an honest place, with friendly reception.
I got the private room and it was clean enough. Cold shower. No soap or toilet paper in shared toilets. Wifi only works downstairs and she acts annoyed if your there. Cheap stiff mattress. Mean front desk lady is my main complaint.
REALLY rustic (nudge-nudge, wink-wink) Clean Somewhat over efficient manageress. But nice and hard working woman. Bring your own sink stopper if you want to bathe instead of shower, or rinse out some clothes
For one night this is a great place. Room was very tidy and the lady at the front desk was very kind. Paolo the taxi driver stays up all night to drive people around and speaks great english!
The hotel has a bad problem with mosquitoes! I left with probably 20 welts after one night there. Another guest said the manager gave them a plug-in bug zapper for the room. I was not offered one, nor informed of the problem.
