I liked this place a lot. The manager was so nice and spoke very good English. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are ample shared bathrooms. It is close to restaurants and cafes and is adjacent to the massive weekly market site. Try eating in the adjacent Indian restaurant. It doesn't look much but the good is excellent, the prices good and the staff very nice.
Building itself is quite old, but I’d rather say it’s not old, but classic and vintage. Located at the top of building without e/v, so you should consider it if you have heavy luggage. When you check-in there, you can meet Don Carlos who is extremely friendly and supportive host. He gladly helps you with all your requests. Location, Fair price and even better service are the best things for this hostel.

Owner is very very nice person. Behaviour is so friendly, polite and professional. He has knowledge of customer requirements which I don't found in other nearby hotels and hostels. I am very happy with the service I got. Prices are also affordable. As I can't speak Portuguese, no problem faced in communication as owner call speak English as well.
Very good and fantastic place to stay as it is located in the main city. The owner Mr. Carlos is a fantastic and a friendly person and he is always there to help even if he can't be there he tells his friend Mr. Paulo to assist and he is also great person. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we visit Portugal. It is located on the 3rd floor as one will need to take stairs as there is no lift.
