By far the best breakfast I had on my entire 6 week trip. On top of the usual breakfast of toast, coffee, and small cakes, they also offered orange juice, eggs, and Spanish ham. AND there wasn't an end time for breakfast, I came down after 10a.m. and they still had everything prepared for me. The rooms were very clean and I had a great view of the cathedral from the top floor. The room and bathroom weren't particularly big, but that wasn't a problem for me. The location is great, it's right next to one of the parks and only a short walk to the cathedral square. And the service was great, very friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend, especially for the price
I was impressed by many details, such as their hair dryer. Room is clean and simple, it’s just perfect for solo travellers. The owner is super nice and I truly love their breakfast. One of the best hotels i have ever stayed in Europe in terms of these price range. Totally recommended!
The view of the Santiago Cathedral from the room window created a classic and timeless atmosphere. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The warm toast, coffee, and omelet, each served in beautifully selected tableware, made me feel truly welcomed. The jamón and honey had such deep flavors that I couldn’t help but savor every bite. The host’s calm and gentle smile also left a lasting impression.
Wonderful experience at Hostal Alfonso. I had room 301 with an amazing view of the Cathedral especially at night. A great breakfast was provided by the owners each morning. I would gladly stay again!
