This review is a few years late as I forgot to post it. Our stay at Joel’s place was exceptional. Our rooms and shared area was spotlessly clean, the building very quiet with tastefully displayed art. Joel was very welcoming. Excellent stay for us.
Normal place to sleep on the Portugues way! Not the best option for 50 bucks as pilgrim but the owner replied quick that was good but he remarked that for that price we couldn’t ask for more! Room clean but the towels had a wet smell there is a bath tub that you cannot use, by 22 hours the small of onion was awful but ok we just need a place to sleep before the next day!
Excellent Guest House for those looking for a comfortable place to stay and enjoy the city beautiful surroundings along with amazing natural scenery and local restaurants nearby! Clean! Safe and family friendly place for a enjoyable stay!! Service is wonderful and located in the heart of the city Tomar, with all the commodities one needs in a daily basis. Train station 5 minutes away from the Guest House also Bus station and taxi station for all needs. Great experience and looking forward to return in the future as well. Thank you
Now I understand why its called "artistic" - they are artists making your money vanish without a trace. Yes, they take your money, through booking, and leave you out with no room. No refund, just empty threats "I'm a lawyer, I'm calling the police, bla bla bla". If you have any love for your money and your comfort, try another place.
Super nice host. We had particular needs, which were attended and at very last minute. Flexibility is valuable these days! The suite was spacious and had a private balcony. To note that it's on a 1st floor with stairs, should someone have reduced mobility.
