Hotel Kamanga

I had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Kamanga! The staff was very kind, helpful and hospitable. They explained a lot about the city of Tomar and the things I could do during my stay. I booked a single room, which usually means a small room in the back of the building. But not here! My room had ample space and a bed large enough for two people. Hot water with good water pressure, wifi worked excellent, and a delicious breakfast. But the best part was the view from my room. Overlooking the town and the convent, it was spectacular day and night! Hotel Kamanga is also very close to the old town and surrounded by bars and restaurants. There's also a mini preço around the corner in case you want a snack in the room. I can highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

Rooms are basic but very good value for money as very close to centre of Tomar. Staff have limited English but enough to assist. Great view over old town and castle from 3rd floor. Breakfast is fine, good coffee and fruits.

Stayed with friends for a short trip to Tomar. One of our friends only speaks English and they found it hard to communicate sometimes. But all the staff was friendly and accommodating, very helpful. Due old construction, poor sound barrier, so the sound from other rooms would travel through the corridor. About 10-15 minute walk from station, therefore well located.

The stay was nearly perfect, only the shower equipment in the bathroom needs to be better(the handset was not fitting in the holder so it could fall down). The rest - breakfast, wifi, location - is really good. Had "better" hotels with more stars that was not even close to this!
