Nice place, friendly, family ran, clean. the room itself is fine but it’s raining and there’s really no place outside of the room - no no lobby area or other really to be comfortable while you’re waiting out the day and you don’t wanna be stuck in your room. my room, though had a absolutely perfect view of the castle. I even got a rainbow when I woke up in the morning.
The hotel is pretty old, but you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. A huge plus is how spotlessly clean the whole place is. The breakfast is simple, but really tasty. Plus, the location is fantastic and the staff are super lovely!
We would stay here again. Room 206 has an excellent view of the castle/convent. We had a very clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. There was good air conditioning in our small but adequate room. The breakfast buffet was wide-ranging and tasty, only let down by the 'orange' being squash rather than juice.
Amazing stuff. They allowed us with a dog, and treated all of us amazingly the whole stay. I love the city, and I'll be back. When I'm back, I will stay there again.
Rooms are basic but very good value for money as very close to centre of Tomar. Staff have limited English but enough to assist. Great view over old town and castle from 3rd floor. Breakfast is fine, good coffee and fruits.
