Needed a place to stay in Tomar and regrettably chose this hotel. Very dated room with the most basic amenities. The TV didn't work at all and was about the size of a laptop screen. The bed had a plastic sheet underneath which made it sweaty and uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. We weren't forwarned about the 300 odd 17 and 18 year olds who'd completely booked out every other room in the place. We were woken at around 3am by the drunken partying in the hallways, stairs, lobby and outside the hotel. This didn't stop until around 5. There was no effort from staff to control this. As we have a 1 year old, this made things very difficult. The breakfast was average, although the coffee was ok. One of the worst stays I've ever had in a hotel.
We stayed for one night. The room looked tide and clean. But when we got up in the morning i saw small bugs under my pelow .... Little search on google I found (with horror) that it's "Cimex lectularius"!!! I called the hotel desk to see and she just said sorry... Take a very good look before u get in bed in this place...
Very narrow showers with a cheap curtain, breakfast is the very basic, bedrooms are calm. Outdated decor in the bedrooms. Staff are very friendly and caring.
Didn't stay at the hotel but the kind staff let us leave our bags there at no charge! Were gracious and kind and looked after our stuff well. Obrigado
Clean room. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Breakfast hmm only let down but for a two star hotel you cannot expect five star grub
