We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Our two-storey suite was beautifully designed, with a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom as a charming design detail. The main bathroom was excellent as well, featuring a spacious shower, plenty of room, marble accents and high-quality Rituals toiletries. Although there is no parking directly at the hotel, the free access to the city’s public car parks is a big plus. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, offering fantastic views of the castle and the convent. The staff were exceptionally friendly. A special thank-you to Eva, who kindly allowed us to enjoy the delicious breakfast even after official hours, and to her colleague who brought out fresh items just for us — something that is far from common these days. Tomar itself is a wonderful town with great sights and plenty of excellent dining options. Overall: A perfect stay — highly recommended!
Wonderful hotel. Everything was just great. The room was very clean and excellently decorated. Very spacious bathroom and even a private bath in the upstairs suite. The location was really good, very close to the town centre. The only negative point would be that the breakfast was a bit lacking, especially for the price. In general, it was good value for money. Will definitely return again.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Sintra. We had two rooms – one with a very large king bed and one with twin beds for our adult kids. The hotel is beautifully decorated with stylish touches. Each room had strong A/C, comfortable showers, and there’s a cozy common area where afternoon treats, wine, coffee, and tea are served. Breakfast was very good, everything we wanted!
Great location across the river from the old town. Comfortable and clean room, decently sized bathroom and nice view of the Templars Castle. Staff are lovely and accommodating.
Lovely hotel in a great location waking distance to everywhere in Thomar. We booked the duplex room which is beautifully designed with a bathtub 🛀 in the room and spacious (photos below) 2 negative things so I have it 4 stars as opposed to 5 There was a humidity smell in our room which slightly improved with air conditioning but was still noticeable throughout the night and the internet didn’t work well in our room possibly because it’s at the extreme end. Otherwise the room was clean and quiet. The last photo is from the roof patio at night which was beautiful 🤩
