Location is fantastic. It's one room with 50 beds but clean and nice sheets. You got shared shower and toilets. A little outdated but clean and the showers are awesome. Great price for the quality !
Very great. Located in the city center, I stayed during december, and it was very warm due to very great blankets. For the price it is well equipped woth kitchen, laundry, dryer (laundry and dryer for each 3 EUR). Breakfast is rather rudimentary but this is not a problem as the price is oke like that. Overall I would come back.
I stayed there around Christmas 2022 for nights. Thank you for Maria and Viktor the longterm pilgrim. pro: bedrooms with several bunkbeds are quite comfy, inkluding sheets and blanket. Although it was quite cold, due to bed weather and thin windows, I used my sleeping bag anyway. bathrooms seemed to be quite new - they are very well maintained and clean. TOP! You could use the laundry machine and dryer for 3€ and there is a sink for handwashing as well TOP! The kitchen has quite a wide view. There is a big fridge, diverse utensiles, pan, pots, mugs, plates, microwave, toaster. For your 15€/night you also get a basic breakfast with tea, cafe (1€), fruit, toast, jam, butter, muffins. Location is TOP, close to the old center, the cathedral, supermarkets, restaurants... there is also a busstation nearby :) CON: the kitchen would need a tea kettle and a cookingplate - at least one. You got all utensils to prepare food, but nothing to cook it properly, except the microwave. (Because I was there around christmas, all restaurants where closed, so I had gotten spagetti the day before, but at the albergue there was no stove to cook it. Fortunately Viktor hat a gas cooker... ) PS: Thank you Viktor for your company around the christmas holidays and the feast you prepared. It was delicious, I can't thank you enough. "Slept" there last night. 21 persons in one room is just to much. Cant understand how this hostel can be so good rated. The Breakfast is an nightmare too.. No cheese or ham. Only two kinds of marmelade. The only good thing for me was the good matrace.
I cant relate to the good rating. The furniture seems new,good showers and bathrooms and kitchen makes a good impression too. But 21poeple in one room, were pilgrims get up very early and and due the noizy lockers and doors banging its impossible to stay asleep. "continental breakfast" means here more varity of bread then toppings and fresh fruit means oranges only. In our case we had a huge man snorring his a** off, and a big group pilgrims whose didnt even try to stay quite before 6am(Which doesnt account for the Hostel,i know,but you get the vibe).
