I would give service a 6th star if I could. Ángeles was so helpful from the start! I had a few questions since I had never done El Camino before and she would answer not only questions relevant to my stay in Pallanes but also gave me suggestions on how to get around. On arrival day, my friend and I had some delays with transport. Ángeles patiently and knowledgeably guided us on what we could do next. We got to Pallanes just a few minutes later than we expected and then we met Mercedes who waited for us an extra 15 minutes past check-in to ensure we got to Pallanes safe and sound. Truly, if you are looking for a safe, clean, comfortable and kind Albergue to stay in Tui, look no further than Albergue Pallanes.
This is definitely one of the cutest albergues I’ve stayed in along the Camino de Portugués. It’s clean and spacious, and it feels like staying in a big house with friends.
The staff are amazing and the beds are very comfortable. Very nice to have an AC in the room. But the staff are beyond compare!
This albergue has everything a pilgrim could need—highly recommended! They respond quickly to reservations made through WhatsApp or email, which makes the booking process very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are well spaced out, so there's plenty of room to leave your backpack and belongings. Each bed has its own shelf, chair, power outlet, and light, showing the host's thoughtful attention to detail. And I loved the long, voluminous pillow because it let me lean back and relax comfortably in bed. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all separate, so you won't disturb sleeping pilgrims, and it's perfect for those who need to get up early and prepare quietly. The large garden brings a sense of peace—drying laundry and resting your legs there is a simple joy that makes you feel truly happy as a pilgrim. The supermarket and restaurants are all nearby, and the host is incredibly kind. I was completely satisfied with my stay.
Best host, super helpful and available, nice place, very clean rooms (beds with sheets )and toilets, good location with a not far supermarket, nice for peregrinos, recommended!
