Parador de Tui

We stayed for one night before starting the Camino and was such a beautiful surrounding. We unfortunately had rainy weather but the standout was our evening meal. I can't find it on Google maps to review but we had the salmon and pork. Both were divine. With beautiful scenery to eat with. Lovely service from both ladies working. I don't have a picture of a tuna aperitivo with a sweet sauce we had which was melt in your mouth good. Bread came with good quality olive oil. Great prices also for the quality. Highly recommend.

If you start your Camino Portugues in Tui, you can do it here in style! The swimming pool is awesome and the restaurant very good. The rooms and service are of Paradores quality and any closer to the Camino you will not get: it passes straight in front of the entrance!

Classic Grand Hotel with the elegant polish and service one expects. However if you reserve a room first ask WHEN management intends to engage the room AC power. It can get hot here, even in April. In the tradition of Grand Hotels, a desk request for a fan resulted in a fan promptly delivered to our room and cheerfully set up. All is well. By the looks of the thermostat in our room it appears that this hotel can have heat or AC, but not both selectable from the room. The food and drink here is good. I would stay here again.

Just didn't quite match expectations. The pool was great but a bit of a trek. Dinner started late and the cafe menu was not available. However, location directly on the Camino. Clean and comfortable.

I've been visiting this Parador for years & although there are better ones I still give it an excellent rating for the high quality service from reception through to the waitresses & kitchen team. The bedrooms are good with nice bathroom. The food & wines are excellent & there's a decent breakfast too. The views of the hilltop city of Tui are beautiful too. In summer you can enjoy the outdoor pool & tennis courts.
