Bedroom was warm, shower was warm. Receptionist was very helpful since I had no cellular data and had trouble with wifi, she was a life saver! The only issue was people did not respect the quiet hours and 3 people were talking and yelling from 9pm-10 pm. It’s winter so it gets dark early and everyone else was trying to sleep. There could be more signage about being respectful with voices. I did not use the washer and dryer but I saw it. But the heat was essential for winter! Thanks for the help with WiFi!

Pretty good albergue. Clean. No bugs. Hot water. Warm rooms. To other comments: no albergues in Galicia have kitchenware, apparently it was a decision to get people to eat in restaurants. The hospitalera was rude. Yes. But based on experience with people from Galicia, that’s just how people are here. Nothing against you, most of them in hostels and cafes just act rude but is just how the culture is. Yes there are a few exceptions but get ready. All in all this was a good albergue with a warm bed and a hot shower. Yes I wish they had curtain divisions in the women’s shower. But I survived.

Bad experience! We bough dinner to cook in the kitchen, but there was NO equipment at all (even though the website said something else). Also the room was unbelievably cold due to the air conditioning, so we froze the whole night and couldn’t sleep at all. We had far better albergues for only half the price. Would not recommend to go there!

The albergue itself is good. There is a lot of space between beds. However, there was a very loud party outside. In the street of this albergue, there were people shouting until 6 AM continuously, and a heavy bass, from a dance club or something. It could be that this was only there in my night, but better to ask at check-in if they know if there will be a big party the whole night.

1. Got bedbugs here 26/10/24 2. the hospitalera was incredibly unpleasant, she even yelled at me for saying “obrigada” instead of “gracias” (poor her 😂). the problem is not the absence of sheets, or the kitchen without utensils, which are normal in albergues in Galizia. The “kitchen” was closed because the Hospitalera claimed that the rain comes in, so no hot water from microowave and no place to eat (you cant eat inside the albergue). 3. even if we asked the girl THREE TIMES to turn on the heating, she didn’t until 8 pm. when i asked her last time, she Was surprised and asked me if I was cold. We were freezing, 7* outside. 4. Just one toilet for women open (the others, one in the same bathroom and other One at the first floor) with doors locked. She doesn’t like cleaning probably? I wonder if the Xunta employ on purpose just unkind and disagreeable hospitaleros in the albergues.
