Albergue São Teotónio

Need a sign on both sides of building of course but being told that the location was next to the fire station helped as our cell phone SAT NAV. was useless. I posted the one horrid towel as cleanliness is so important and only two spoons for every one to share was a communal joint joke it was not fun. Worlds worst kitchen was said by many. Wonderful welcome when we arrived very tired. Would recommend with the addition of soap, again in the bathrooms.

Worst albergue of the entire Camino so far. It's cheap and you get a bed, but the mean owner comes in and ushers you out to the street at 8 in the morning, in the rain. Kitchen is depressing, both the microwave and the stove are broken

Nice albergue, close to the citadel and to the new town where many restaurants and cafés are located. Spacious living room, correct beds and bathrooms. Only one toilet for a dorm for 25 people is not enough though (was not a problem when I was there, since there were only three of us that night). Also, reception is not too kind, they seem to be annoyed with you and to know it all.

The beds are OK I guess, but the bathrooms are not good. You cannot lock most of the showers and toilets, they are not really clean and there is absolutely no place where to put your clothes when showering. The toilets also weren't cleaned properly. The WiFi doesn't work at all. So far it was the worst albergue I've stayed at. But the staff are really nice.

It was my third time here. The lady at reception was really friendly; she gave me a private room with bathroom for the price of a dorm. I was lucky I guess. The place is very nice; it has a good kitchen and common room with a chess board. There is a supermarket just 2 minutes away. It's also a lot cheaper to stay here instead of Tui; 5 euros instead of 8.
