It's an albergue, but with hotel standards. It's the best place on the Camino - city Valenca - to stop, relax, and prepare for the next journey. The room we were given is super comfortable and very well-equipped. The kitchen is like home, with everything you need. You can even easily prepare French fondue! The relaxation area is like a resort in Bali! A pool, hammocks, beach chairs, and a huge garden. The hosts provided spots in both sun and shade. From the very first moment, we felt like someone was waiting for us and that we were welcome guests. A truly recommendable place, both for budget pilgrims and guests expecting 5-star standards! A must-visit. Buen Camino!
Amazing place to stay. The rooms are small (meaning not too many bunks in one room), the showers are nice and there's a pool. There's lots of outside space to relax, including sunbeds and hammocks. A few lovely cats are hanging around :) the owner is very friendly and for 10 euro he cooks a nice meal with wine and dessert. Supermarket is also close by. Perfect!
This place is magical. The host, Carlos, is the kindest man, the grounds are beautiful and the people you will meet here are amazing. I booked one night and myself and others I met there ended up staying 2. I could have stayed forever! Absolutely value for money. The PERFECT place to spend a few nights and take a rest day. The photos don’t do it justice, this is the most perfect place to stay on the Camino and it’s just a 5 min walk to Valença. I will forever remember this albergue as the highlight of my Camino. Magical. Can not recommend enough. The pool is BRILLIANT, rooms are spacious and quiet, beds are comfortable and there are always lots of drinks in the fridge. Supermarket 5 min walk away. The BEST albergue on the Camino, feels like absolute luxury.
Excellent location. The rooms are simple but very tidy. The location itself is one of the nicest i've ever been. The host is very supportive and has prepared an unbelievable barbeque.
Wow. What a beautiful place. What a wonderful, honest, nice welcoming host. I just saw the sign on the camino in Cristelo Covo and called him. Although it was closed he said yes you can stay for the night. It felt so good to stay here. He even gave me some food and milk. One of the nicest places I stayed on the camino. Felt like home coming. His intention is just giving love to others. Would definitely recommend to stay there for a night or even longer. He even brought me my headlight which I forgot at the room the next day to the center of Tui. The house reminded me of the one of my grandparents. Very old but nice.
