Fantastic place for a few nights. Modern, bright room with a complete miniature kitchen. Only 4 or 5 rooms so no management on site, but they are in the jewelry store on ground floor. Only concern is the stairway from 2nd to 3rd floors: very steep and narrow; good luck getting a large suitcase up!
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was an excellent location. We stayed on the first floor and it had a lovely view of the square. We found the kitchen area to be a little small for any food prep and randomly had huge serving dishes when there wasn't even enough space to prep a salad. The pans were also stored in the cupboard behind the bin, which meant we chose not to use them. Maybe needs a rethink to remove somme of the plates and dishes which really won't be used and stick to a simple setup. We also thought from the description that the washing machine was in the studio. It is not. You must put your washing in a bag and hand to the staff in the shop downstairs to wash for you. This service is not available on a Sunday (when we arrived) and only during the day on the other days. So if you planned to wash clothes, make sure that you arrive in time to hand them over.
Book it, its worth every penny! We booked this room (with a size of an appartment) and boy i already dread the moment we have to leave again. Literally everything in here is more than perfect! Since all the comments already mention how specious and completly new everything is and how friendly the owners are, let me point out the little things that makes this hotel outstanding. The knifes in the kitchen are sharper then our own, the hairdryer equals 5* hotel equipment, the windows shut out every noise from the street at night, the hallway is an art galary and the old character of the house is embraced in a modern way. So if you are still hesitant, i truly believe you will find no better place to stay in viana!
O quarto é impecável, tem uma mini cozinha, a decoração é muito original e tudo estava asseado. Bem no centro histórico, é para andar a pé e conhecer. Recomendo vivamente!
Everything was positive. The location is incredible, right in the center of the city center, right on the main square, or whatever it's called. The apartment is meticulously decorated. We stayed on the first floor, with four windows, two of them large windows overlooking the square. Better views, impossible. The cleanliness is extraordinary, and the service is just as good. We'll definitely be back. One comment: I find it funny when people complain about the noise from people on the street. Let's see, if you choose accommodation in the very center of the city, do you expect no one to pass by on the street so it doesn't bother you?
