Wonderful hotel in a good location. Very friendly and welcoming staff on reception, very helpful and professional. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was extensive, lots of fresh fruit, cheese, meats and breads. Scrambled eggs and sausages were delicious.
If you have the luck to have a new room, everything is ok. Less good if you've an old room. The train can be noisy. 5min away from the old city and the sea. Very nice and professionnal staff, good breakfast. You can get drunk all night at the bar :)
The hotel is located on a busy street next to a busy rail line My room was on that side… trains run about every 20 min till 10:30 The recommended solution was to close the window and shutters and turn on the outdated noisy air conditioner Fine if you don’t mind sleeping in a noisy tomb On arrival, there was not a single towel in my room I was offered one towel… no bath mat or face cloth and told it would be replaced the next day I was booked for a two night stay and after being gone all day (9:30-3:30) my room had not been cleaned nor towel replaced The young woman in reception was just plain rude and nasty saying there was only one person for the floor and she worked till 4 There was no one cleaning rooms on my floor, the room simply was skipped Someone came up immediately with fresh towels It’s not so much that the room was skipped but the receptionist could not possibly have been more hostile, nasty, or rude I’m walking my 4th Camino and this is the only negative review I have posted I would not recommend this hotel at any price under any circumstances
Hotel room was ok however the receptionist was rude barely made eye contact we asked a simple question for directions to start the route on Camino and she just shrugged her shoulder and looked away really poor customer service and I def wouldn't recommend staying here every other place we stayed was so helpful
Everything was great - good location, cozy and clean room, polite and welcoming staff. Only thing I noticed (not a problem for me but I assume will be for some) is that the noise from the corridor and other rooms may be heard easily, or at least in our room. Was definitely not bad and I will be glad to use the service of this lovely hotel again. 4,5 stars from 5, enjoy :)
