This was an impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable stay right on the Camino path for us. The shower was excellent, beds were comfortable and linens fresh . The morning light breakfast was perfect to start the day. I highly recommend this stay.

I booked a room through Booking. I paid for the bed immediately and even received confirmation from the hotel. But just 1.5 hours later, they told me I couldn’t stay because of their “gender separation” policy. There was no information about this on the website. This misleads customers, and I believe Booking should verify such cases to prevent similar situations. The receptionist acted as if doing their job was a punishment — no real help, no basic politeness. On top of that, they tried to make me look like an idiot instead of admitting their own mistake. I hope my €20, which they kept, will be a real treasure for them — because in my opinion, that’s exactly how much their reputation is worth.

Nice albergue in a nice location, a few blocks from the beach. A really cool old building as well. I wish the check-in was earlier, 4 p.m is probably the latest I encountered on my camino. There was also nobody at reception when I arrived to drop my bag off, there was a note saying they would be back soon but I waited 30 minutes and nobody came, so I had to carry my bag around town for 3 hours while I waited for check-in. After a long day walking it was extra stress I could've done without. Also... the showers have completely glass doors so if you are a bit squeemish about privacy this one can be tough. Otherwise a good spot though!

I loved this place. The kindness of the people at the reception, especially the young gentleman working the late shift, is LEGENDARY, without being cheesy or overwhelming. Seriously, he deserves 100 stars (much gratitude to him) ! I arrived late from Porto after a long day Camino walk. They were so flexible. When he saw me washing my clothes (outside), he offered to use their drying machine to dry my stuff, as it will not be ready for the morning 😊 By the way, you can check in very late (midnight) and check out is at noon (no one will kick you out in the morning 🌅 😊🥰) The place is a large building that hosts students, but also pilgrims and tourists. It is part owned by the City I believe (or some other public entity). The interiors are gorgeous, as it used to be the home of a wealthy family. It is modern (as in renovated) and spacious. Very clean. The bunk beds are not bad at all (not pods, but still solid with good privacy for such a structure). They provide you towels, sheets and a light blanket. Very clean as well. You can hand wash your clothes outside and hang them to dry. The crowd is nice and diverse. Some pilgrims, some tourists (younger and older people). Not a party crowd or place (which is good when you want to sleep) 😊 Breakfast is simple but very decent. It is included in the price. Great coffee machine. Rest is buffet style and gives you all the nutrients you need. Toilets and showers are functional and very acceptable for this kind of accommodations. One thing to note is that higher level bunk beds don't have unfortunately an electric plug to charge your phone during the night. However, I was able very easily to use a plug that is in the room (6-beds). So not an issue. There is decent space around the bunk bed to place your things. Beach is very close by. I didn't go but saw it on the map. I think it is few minutes walk. Definitely a plus. I felt very comfortable at this place. I strongly recommend it. It gives you space. For the price, it is fantastic value if you are walking the Camino. It is also good to be in a nice environnement for the price of an albergue. Buon Camino 😊😊

Really nice place to stay in! The rooms are spacious and clean. However, one thing that could be improved is the doors on each room - they can be quite tricky to close and make a lot of noise. Overall, still a great stay!
