5 / 5 I am organizing and event in Portugal from distance as I live in another country. From all the hotels that I contacted, Lezíria, was beyond my expectations from the start! I am very confident that my event will be a great success as the service has been impeccable. A local college of mine was there to visit and ensure me also about the service, quality of the food and how clean it looks. Great team!
UPDATE: it was a success!!
4 / 5 Had the 2 twin bed room. Very dated but functional. Balcony was a nice spot to relax out of the room. No idea how you could squeeze a third bed intobthe room but is an option
Breakfast was basic but sufficient - similar to a holiday inn. No irons in the room or to borrow - they only offer having your clothes pressed for a cost. Gym is a joke - big space with the oldest bike, treadmill and elliptical I've ever seen. Place is well located by grocery stores, gas stations and easy access to interstate. Monitor rates, cost for room fluctuated greatly while we were still planning trip and hadn't booked yet booked.
2 / 5 Very Poor Experience with Breakfast Staff – Extremely Disappointed
My recent stay at your hotel was deeply disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior and lack of basic courtesy from your breakfast staff.
To begin with, the hotel only provided a single bottle of water for the first night – despite a stay of five nights and a booking for six people. This already set a poor tone.
As a diabetic, I take medication (tablets) 30 minutes before eating. Each morning, I would go to the restaurant early to take my tablet, then return later to have breakfast. My wife, who does not eat breakfast, stayed in the room – yet we had paid for two breakfasts each day.
Despite this, on one morning, a staff member confronted me in front of my friends, accusing me of taking breakfast twice. I calmly explained that I took my tablet first and returned later for breakfast, and that my wife does not use her breakfast entitlement. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and refused to listen. It was extremely embarrassing to be spoken to this way in front of others.
On another morning, after sitting down and going to get my food, I returned to find my seat taken by another guest. I simply moved to another table. A waitress then came over and told me off, stating I couldn’t keep moving tables – as if I had done something wrong. Again, I was publicly reprimanded for no reason.
I raised my concerns with the manager, but nothing was done. No apology. No follow-up. Nothing.
This level of customer service is unacceptable – especially at a hotel that claims to provide a quality guest experience. The staff need to be trained in basic manners, cultural sensitivity, and how to treat paying guests with respect.
Very disappointing. I would not recommend your hotel based on this experience alone.
3 / 5 The room is clean, but not great for four people. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's about a 25 minute ride to the airport. Not much of a fitness room. The shower ended up leaving water all over the bathroom. That was annoying. For the price, it was ok.
5 / 5 An outstanding hotel in the town of Vila France de Xira in the Ribateja region, just a 30-minute drive to downtown Lisbon. The rooms are very presentable and functional with an excellent mattress and bedlinen. The bathroom is clean and modern. Speaking to the staff, I understand the rooms are going to be refurbished later this year, which will add even more appeal for that long weekend break or a base to discover the surrounding area. Recommended!
