This private albergue is right in the heart of historic Vilanova de Arousa and steps from the waterfront (and the boat you need to take to get to Padrón when walking the Variante Spiritual of the Camino Portuguès). It's in a tastefully renovated historic building and the owner Fran is kind and helpful. It's impeccably clean. You get real sheets, a real pillow, and even a duvet. If you've walked the Camino, you know how rare this is! Don't expect to cook here, there is only a microwave, but what a great place! At 17€ (in March) it was an amazing find.

This hostel is beautiful! Perfect combination of the rough old walls and new interior. Perfectly cleaned. The room is not as big but has high ceilings so it doesn't feel small. Bed (double room) is a bit on the smaller side for us tall Dutch people. But they have clean sheets and a firm mattress. Bathroom has a rain shower, is warm. You are provided with towels. There is a basic kitchen (freezer, fridge, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine) and a common living room with couches. There is a free washer and dryer. WiFi is strong downstairs but a bit weaker upstairs. The owner is such a friendly man. He hardly speaks English but he tries so hard. He gave us some tips for restaurants and helped us book the boat to Padron.

Really nice and clean place with comfy bed, free towels. Nice living room. 1 minute to harbour. Bunk bed 18 Euro per night.
