I have a VivaBox gift voucher for one night for two people with breakfast. I tried to book a night with this woman, and the first thing she told me was that she doesn't accept bookings for less than two nights and that I would have to pay an extra €110, and that I should let her know soon because she's extremely busy. I hung up to check the same business on Booking.com, and not only did that platform let me book a single night—the one I wanted, by the way—but the occupancy wasn't as high as she'd indicated; each night was actually €105, which is cheaper. I called her back a minute later, explaining what I'd just seen on Booking.com, and she told me to forget about booking with them because she didn't like the way I was speaking to her, and hung up. Anyway. Liars, because they weren't telling me the truth; scammers, because to use my voucher they wanted to charge me more for the supposedly mandatory second night than the first platform I checked; and rude, because instead of apologizing and trying to fix the mess, they still had more to say. "SCAMMER" is the word that left me speechless before hanging up.
