Puzzled by all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Extremely basic hotel: sparsely furnished rooms, uncomfortable beds and cheap soap and shampoo. Old hair in the shower. No air conditioning and no fans, but much too noisy to sleep with the window open. Uninteresting breakfast. Seems to cater to low-end bus tours. Only redeeming feature was friendly staff. At this level of quality, should be half the price.
This hotel was quite comfortable - plenty of towels, everything was clean, and the staff were pleasant and easy to communicate with. Breakfast was simple but offered a few options. I’d recommend it to those walking the Camino who are looking for a bit more comfort than usual.
We stopped here for 1 night before taking the boat to Pontesecures. Good value for money. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Fantastic and very helpful staff - outstanding experience! Hotel comes with a bar and restaurant. Bit noisy at night and early morning with all the pilgrims leaving for the early boat. Would still definitely recommend if you are on your way to Santiago!
Nice hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the pilgrim boats. Very helpful staff. The restaurant has a 3 course pilgrim menu for €15 which has delicious food (the beef stew was great) and included a beverage and dessert. There's a nice cafe across the road too.
For a 2 star hotel it was surprisingly good. Very wide beds. Very friendly staff. Dinner was very good too.
