This municipal hostel is right on the Camino, so the location is great. It is said to host 54 pilgrims, but I think they are doing some renovations, since there were only 32 spots today. The outlets next to the beds are not working, and there are only a couple of proper sockets on the walls. It’s such a pain to charge anything. The kitchen has no pots or pans to cook anything. The bedroom is incredibly crowded and hot, and the windows are so small that you’re not able to even try to air the room out. Honestly it is the same as all the other Galician albergues, nothing special, especially when staying only for one night. Bring a fully charged power bank.

If you can choose the room with fewer beds. Thanks to this I slept the best night on the camino and it is a public albergue.

It would have been a decent albergue in a decent location. They have a lot of beds, however one room is completely filled. Another has much more space, so you’re lucky if you sleep there. The crammed, large room that I was sleeping in had a very bright light on all night long. I woke up thinking that it was daylight when it was in fact actually 1 am. That is how bright it is. Don’t sleep near the light over the door. It was a Saturday night and very loud. Choose another albergue in a different part of the town if it’s a weekend. Sufficient bathrooms.

I was just passing through. I entered as I thought they may have information about the adjacent churches. Before I could ask anything or even to say hi the receptionist made gesture for me to leave. As I didn't understand Spanish she make the sign presumably asking if I booked for staying at the albergue. She didn't care at all to understand or be hospitable even if to say sorry I don't have any information. Just making gesture to leave - I felt was pretty rude.

Beautiful old stone house is converted to public albergue. Usual dorm room with bunk beds. Unfortunately mattresses are prone to fold in the middle which makes you half seating. Never had this before on the Primitivo route in municipal albergues . Another downfall is the squeaking floors and doors. Even if you try to be super quiet, you can’t. Shower area is not new but functional. Very nice outside garden area. Plenty of sockets. Kitchen as everywhere in Galicia - empty. Decent stay in a central location.
