I was surprised at how much I loved this place, given how many beds they have for pilgrims. It has a large capacity, but they did a brilliant job sectioning off the bunks with curtains and plywood walls to provide both noise dampening and privacy! My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to get an alcove with only one bunk bed, so we gained some much welcomed privacy after weeks on the trail. The kitchen was spacious, and didn’t feel crowded while cooking with others sitting down to eat. There is a lovely living room with a couple couches (which were cheap and ouchy, but a place to sit!) and lots of board games to play if wanted. Washing machines and dryer worked really well, and we were thrilled to have completely dry clothes after just one cycle. If you prefer to hand wash and hang dry, they have an enclosed drying space that gets ample airflow, so your clothes are still safe if it rains! Hurrah! The staff were warm, inviting, and very helpful. The blankets provided were just about the best we’ve had on the trail (boyfriend described them as “glorious”). WiFi worked just as strong from my bunk as it did in the common spaces! 😍 Showers are fixed temperature on a 12-second push button, which is obnoxious, but honestly the only real complaint I could think of. Everything else was truly wonderful. We left feeling as refreshed as if we had booked a private room somewhere. Especially nice to indulge in a late vacate time of 9am. Rare for an albergue!!
Very nice hostal with plenty of space between beds and privacy curtains. Plenty of toilets and showers are strong. The kitchen was very good so we even cooked together.
The albergue owner here is an incredible and kind human. He went above and beyond to help us when my husband got food poisoning at a local restaurant. The beds are clean. The bathrooms have 4 showers (much more than some other albergues). It has a nice kitchen where you can make your own tea and meals. I would recommend this place to anyone and I am very grateful to the owner for his kindness and helpfulness.
One of the best hostels I stayed in on the Camino. Super clean. Comfortable beds. The owner is so friendly and helpful, it really made my trip even better. Gracias mucho!!!!
Great place for a pilgrim. Literally on trail. Hostess was helpful and nice.
