Warm and dry with towel heaters! Got our gear mostly dry after a huge rain day. Really great decor in the Cambridge room. Awesome breakfast at their Cafe a few blocks away. Nice gluten free muffin and biscuits.
Nice hotel . Only issue had to walk to partner hotel for evening meal and breakfast.. Not a problem if it wasn't pouring down..
I had the pleasure of staying at Pension Boutique La Casona de Nene on my way to Santiago de Compostela, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms were not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The level of cleanliness was impressive. What truly set this place apart, however, was the outstanding service provided by Rosana, the manager. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with such genuine warmth that it felt like we were stepping into our own home. Her hospitality made our stay truly memorable. I also had the opportunity to visit her husband's hotel, 1930, and I'm already planning my next stay there. Based on my exceptional experience at La Casona de Nene, I have no doubt that 1930 will be just as wonderful. Overall, I highly recommend Pension Boutique La Casona de Nene for its comfortable rooms, tasteful decor, spotless cleanliness, and above all, the exceptional service provided by Rosana and her staff. It's a place where you'll not only find a comfortable bed but also a warm and welcoming home away from home.
Beautiful hotel with fabulously decorated rooms. Excellently run by gorgeous young lady on reception who couldn't have been more helpful and even gave us umbrellas for rain. Restaurant also very impressive. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful and food delicious. We wish we could have stayed for more than one night but unfortunately had to start next stage of Camino after our one night stay in your beautiful hotel.
This is one of the best places I stayed at the Camino! The staff is super friendly, they have a small pool that is amazing to chill and have a good time and the rooms are just perfect! They have a restaurant and the food is also incredible.
