Hotel Gaudí Astorga

We were very well looked after here, in the bar and restaurant. We came here because the restaurant in our hotel was closed on a Wednesday evening. They were servicing a group of 30 tourists from the Netherlands but still able to provide us with good attention and excellent food.

Hotel Gaudí in Astorga is a classic choice for anyone on the Camino de Santiago. Perfectly located right next to the city's cathedral and the Gaudí Palace, it offers a picturesque setting that enhances the experience. The hotel features spacious rooms with private bathrooms, each offering beautiful views of the city. The charming and classic décor complements the historic surroundings. They also provide restaurant services and breakfast, which is very convenient for pilgrims. Staying here was a delightful and comfortable break in my pilgrimage. Highly recommend for its hospitality and superb location.

Located across the cathedral. Nice hotel, good and clean rooms. Not pleasant staff. Especially the girl at the bar. Very rude. But you can’t beat the location. I guess since they have a very good location they don’t see the need to also be pleasant with their quests.

Lovely old style hotel. Big room with big comfortable bed. I thought the staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
