My husband and I are doing the Camino, and decided to forgo the dorm in Roncevalles(which btw is also clean and well run) for a bit of luxury: a private room with an en-suite. Casa Begara was a great choice. The price was well worth the spotless and very comfortable accommodation, and Maria Joseph was delightful and ever so helpful. We would highly recommend!
on the way to Compostela I spent my first night in Spain at Maria Jose's house. the hotel is superb in a very beautiful Basque house. quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. Next door there is a restaurant on the village square. I loved it!
A 10!!! The house is super cozy and spectacular but what truly makes it a great stay are the owners who run the rural house, Pello and Josepi, a love of people. It is very much worth stopping here.
Some great days. Everything perfect, rich and abundant breakfast. The host was attentive at all times to all our needs. Highly recommended
A magnificent typical Basque house. We spent one night during our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, the welcome was superb, María José provided very good advice and was always accommodating. Very good value for money, the room was perfect, with a recently renovated private bathroom and beautiful decoration. We had breakfast which was also very good. Thank you very much we hope to return.
