No air conditioning and with plastic sheets on the mattresses to assist in preventing bed bugs the room is hot. However they have a nice place to wash your clothes and the tubs out back and they are within close walking distance of both the grocery store and a restaurant. Great place to stay if you cannot get into the hostel coming off the mountain.
Extremely clean hostel with a very kind guy at reception who was so welcoming and helpful after a long rainy trek from SJPDP. Muddy boots stay downstairs in the laundry/drying room, bathrooms are spotless and there’s coffee/tea and a vending machine too. Would have been great to have hooks in the rooms, maybe somewhere to rest the pack other than the floor, and there’s no soundproofing or insulation so it can get very noisy till 11pm quiet time
Had a pleasant experience staying here. Very clean and well maintained. Staff were polite and made us feel welcome. Only negatives were that the room was rather small and the bunk beds were a little noisy. Good facilities; showers with large cubicles, washing machine downstairs and a boot rack (required to remove boots to keep floors clean).
Very clean and modern inside, smooth check in and good rooms. Small area out back for washing and drying area and a full kitchen. I pre-booked it the morning of my arrival and can imagine it fills up fast. 5 stars as it is great for what it is trying to be.
Cheap rates and a very helpful staff. One of the cleanest hikers hostels I have ever seen. I stayed during my GR11 hike and would stay here again if I do the Camino
