En el camino

Loved our stay here on Camino. We were going to stay in albergue but they had room in the hotel. We were so thankful for a private room with memory foam beds. The meal was wonderful and Eduardo was so welcoming.

Two days ago on October 4, 2024, my husband, two friends, and I stopped at the hotel for la comida, lunch While the service and facilities were very nice, the three of us who ordered ensalada mixta came down with food poisoning within a few hours. I had to be transported by ambulance to a hospital in Palencia due to the severity of my symptoms: severe pain, nausea, and diarrhea. This is my 10th Camino and I have never experienced food poisoning before. It was a horrible painful experience and I have been confined to bed since then. It cost us well over €400. I am sorry to post this two days later for all the other clients who may also have experienced this preventable distress.

This is the place to stop on the Way. It is both highly professionally run while having the finest personal touch. The locals love being here because they understand that the camino guarantees them an all year round great place to be and we, the pilgrims (and other visitors) benefit from the great accommodation, the excellent food and services, the amazing garden and pool and ambience... what can I say more. It is a place where you can chill after a long day's walk... enjoy xx

This place is brilliant...just what the Camino needs...there is a growing group of travellers that are prepared to pay for a room rather than a dormitory bed. This place could not do it better..food good value for money...highly recommended

Super friendly and kind owner. Nice garden with art and lots of space to sit and relax (too early in the season for the pool though!). Great communal dinner and good opportunity to meet other pilgrims. Highly recommend.
