In a rural area, very well equipped, 20 minutes from Burgos city. We spent three days there despite the snowfall, and the house was wonderful, just like home. The owner, a lovely person, gave excellent advice. Highly recommended.
We stayed with some friends this weekend and the experience was wonderful. The setting was just the way we like it: quiet, with only the birds singing, but with plenty to see in the area. We decided on Paleolithic Living and the Atapuerca sites. The house was truly beautiful, with a very special charm, and what I always care about most was cleanliness—a 10/10 here. Other plus points were the terrace and the small plot of land with a barbecue, which we were able to use because it felt so good. I could also safely leave my dog there when we went on excursions, with the garage door open in case he wanted to be inside but still be able to enjoy the outdoors. Another plus was the availability and kindness of the owner, who always WhatsApped me to send me locations I needed. She even stopped by when we were away to set up the barbecue so we'd have it ready for us when we returned. We will definitely return.
Anything I can say about this rural house is an understatement. The weekend we spent with our family in this magnificent rural house was truly wonderful. Attention was paid to the smallest detail, with everything equipped so you could enjoy the house to the fullest. The owner, Belén, and her husband are fantastic, very attentive from the very beginning and very kind to all our questions and needs as they arose. They also behaved wonderfully with the children, with numerous thoughtful touches for them and us, such as a Burgos sausage they gave us upon our arrival at the house. The village is quiet and wonderful for a few days of rest, enjoying its landscapes and surroundings, as well as its people. The neighbors we met were also very friendly. I definitely recommend this rural house and, of course, look forward to returning and staying longer because it ended up feeling too short.
Today we finished our weekend at this country house, and it was wonderful. The house is beautiful and cozy, with three very spacious bedrooms, two large bathrooms, and a fantastic terrace. The best part was communicating with Belén, who is lovely and made everything incredibly easy for us. She even explained where to park, how to get around Burgos, and suggested things to do with children nearby. 100% recommended!
