This lovely apartment sits directly on the Camino. The room was huge and well appointed. The whirlpool run was amazing but I think my favorite part was the in room washer. Being able to have all my clothes clean for the first time in several weeks was a true luxury. Many thanks for a delightful stay!
An oasis in the Camino desert of the meseta. The most beautiful comfy bed, giant spa bath, great shower, well appointed kitchen - very large room. Even a little log burner for winter, The staff speak no English but use Google translate, and nothing is a bother. Stay here!
Lovely little place to rest with a private bathroom. The lounge and kitchen is shared and has all the facilities you might need including washing machine.
Tia Paula was really sweet and welcoming. Although the house's located in a bit outside of the main st. she helped me out with direction to Santiago, and other shops close by. (Restaurant and the supermarket..etc) But this house's with the full size of kitchen so you don't need to eat out unless you want to- She arranged me for the taxi, and the backpack transportation service so you can ask if you're in need- she cant speak English well, but carries a tablet pc and uses it to translate when she speaks - (Tip:I paid 35 euro to go to Ledigos, with my backpack goes to Sahagun. :p) Good connections to the wifi, and I even got an upgrade for my room. yay lucky me. Gracias!
They don't have air con in the room and the WiFi was almost inexistent!!! When outside is over 30 degrees and you are on the attic and the room is pretty warm, a fan won't do, sorry to say. It's a shame because otherwise the self-contained studio have it all, including lovely decoration with great finishings and details. They is a massive double jacuzzi (we didn't use it, again because of the heat) that I'm sure it's a pleasure to use by tired pilgrims after a few stages of hard walk. Or just any visitor. Fantastic toilet too. Tips: Avoid the top floor at all costs (second floor) if hot weather. If you have mobility problems, bear in mind they is not lift. Again, not air con and extremely poor WiFi are unforgivable to otherwise great room not far from the centre.
