Had a breakfast here, the worst service I saw on the whole Camino. We sat just inside the door, so saw then snarling at almost everyone. Cash only and no till…. I spent 22€ and lady serving ripped the 50euro note I gave her then she asked me for another. Guy was hesitant to give a girl water from the tap for her bottle and they guard the bathroom key like it’s to a vault of gold. Coffee was good as was bacon sandwich but it’s pricey. I took some positive energy in that they are doing what they hate every day and suffer accordingly. Horrendous service attitude. Avoid unless you are starving.

Very short tempered and rude staff. Not welcoming to customers. Sandwich had stale hard bread. Would not stop here again while on the Camino de Santiago. Bathroom is for paying customers only, no option to just pay for Bathroom use - need to order something.

Very rude owner (woman), high prices for the Camino, locked bathrooms, odd video surveillance… Very un-Camino like. Not a welcoming establishment. Avoid it. There are many other options in the area.

They’re very rude, they don’t allow card payment and they make no invoice. Keep walking

During a recent visit to this place, I witnessed an unfortunate incident that left a negative impression. A father, accompanied by his young child who clearly needed to use the restroom urgently, politely asked the owner for permission to use the facilities. Shockingly, the owner refused, insisting that the restroom was for customers only. While policies are important, a little empathy and flexibility can go a long way, especially when dealing with children. This rigid and unaccommodating attitude was quite disheartening to witness. I wonder if the owner has taken a look at the reviews on Google. It's evident that relies heavily on its location near "El Camino," a route frequented by travelers and pilgrims who are often in high spirits and seek a welcoming place to rest and refresh. The goodwill of these visitors is crucial for the business’s survival. If the owner finds it challenging to deal with people and their occasional requests for kindness, perhaps it’s time to reconsider whether this line of business is truly the right fit. Hospitality and customer service are at the core of any successful restaurant, and a lack of warmth and flexibility can easily drive potential customers away.
