One of the worst places I stayed. The Mattresses all are hanging through in the middle due to age and need urgently replacement. The Hospitalero doesn't care about your situation. He Doesn't even want to listen what you try to say. I broke up in tears because I tried to explain myself and he's just repeating "this is the rule" ( talking here about asking for a bottom bed, nothing more). Not kind , not compassionate.

Rafa the Hostalero is simply in a class of his own. Best I've met since leaving Barcelona nearly 1000km. Practical knowledgeable committed but without being boorish and always discrete. Runs hostal simply and effectively. Distribution of room very simple and effective maximising space at all times. Well worth stopping here even if you don't have a reservation. And his taste in music is sound too. Muchísimas gracias Rafa - el autentico espirito de lo que tendria que ser un albergue del Camino.

Nice, simple donation albergue. Outside of the building is interestingly made of mud. Good kitchen and plenty of sitting space.

The most uncomfortable albergue that I came across on the way from Burgos. Perhaps albergues per donativo are all like that. Here, on the one hand, there is everything - hot water (there is a water heater, but if someone washes at the same time as you, then you will have cold water), Wi-Fi, a washing machine and a dryer (but the door of the dryer does not close, instead, a special rope is used), a stove, a refrigerator, some dishes. But no one met us at all, there is simply no hospitalier here (we’ve been here on our own for 4 hours already), we stamped ourselves, there was no way to get any disposable sheets. The cleanliness of the kitchen is questionable. The showers are clean, but cold and there is not enough light, not all doors close properly. There is no ceiling in the usual sense (this adds its own chic, but still raises questions). There is no heating in winter, but there is a fireplace, there was some firewood, but the pilgrims brought brushwood from the street. In general, if there was an opportunity, I would prefer another place. Perhaps it is more comfortable here in the summer.
