This place is a gem. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. In fact it’s among the best we’ve had while walking the Camino de Santiago; actually, it’s one of the two best restaurant meals we’ve had. And the best part — the people. Monica and her mother were incredibly gracious hosts; and the mother is a hoot. She speaks no English but is able to communicate beautifully. If you find yourself anywhere near (whether walking the Camino or whatever), make it a point to stop in. For a meal; for a night. Just get here.

Across the street from the municipal Albergue. The albergue doesn't serve dinner, so people find their way over. €17 And I had smoked salmon salad for a starter with a lot of smoked salmon! Sliced pork, roast and fries for an entree, A bottle of wine between the two of us, a simple ice cream for dessert - But I didn't have room for it! The short woman (I'm 6'4" or 1.93m!) who runs the place, (I think she's the owners daughter) is a hoot! They have a washing machine and a balcony to dry your clothes. €40 per night double room.
Hostal not accepting pilgrims with mascotas while being recorded with the Oficina de Tourismo and the Miam-Miam Dodo guide as accepting mascotas. The person in the hostal was not welcoming (and not speaking French or English). No attempt at all to help finding a place for a pilgrim in difficulty to find a hosting. Very bad impression overall. To be avoided.
What a nice evening! Triple room with its own bathroom and a good dinner, too. They looked after us on the day the electricity went off on all Spain. A big thank you, Monica!
