Good hotel in northern Navarre. A good place to stay if you're doing the Camino de Santiago. Decent bar and restaurant. Nice clean rooms. Spacious car park. Great scenery in this location.
The pilgrims menu was $15 and served family style. They brought out a small platter of wings with fries. Split between 5 people, you didn't get enough food. I learned a lesson: when they sell tickets ahead of time, all the pilgrims eat together, from one platter.
It was great place to stay. Beds were perfect, rooms weren't crowded, washer & dryer were great & bathroom & showers were great. I gave 4 for location because you have to go a lttle on the opposite direction of the Camino.
Really nice and calm hotels with great service and really price worthy food. Try to get a room away from the road as trucks make a bit of a noise in the morning hours but totally ok.
If on the Camino de Santiago, I would avoid. The 'pilgrims dinner' is poor for the price. At €12 you get overcooked pasta with minimal sauce. Chips/fries with greasy/oily pork for main. And a small dry bit of banana bread for dessert with no sauce. And some red wine. When the only nutritional item of food is red wine then something is wrong. Room 13 shower was cold as it's the end room according to the receptionist. The staff were friendly but the value for money at €21 was just not great. As a pilgrim you feel like you don't want to complain which is probably why they feel like they can serve non nutritional baby food and put people in rooms when they know they are issues with the shower - they know that most pilgrims won't complain.
