Nice albergue with good location. There are cafes, supermarkets and even restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped, the dining room is cosy and comfort. Room is warm. WC and shower room is male and female separated. (We walked for Winter Camino)
Cold showers - no hot water after the longest walk on the Camino so far. No toilet roll in the morning. Extremely squeaky bathroom door which keeps you awake all night. This is a very basic Albergue, it should at least offer the basics, like toilet roll. And it wouldn't take 2 minutes to get some WD40 on the door hinges. Seems lazy to me. The new owners don't seem to care about pilgrims' experience. Wouldn't recommend.
COLD SHOWER! Please avoid this albergue! This is one of the worst albergue in the Camino. Cold shower after a long walk and only got one toilet each for men and women each floor. The bed is squeaky, you CANNOT move! You need to pay a extra 1.5 euro for the paper beddings. Also when I was packing I found insects on the bed! It’s a pity I can’t give 0 star to this albergue! AVOID!!
***I did not actually stay here*** I stayed in Hostal San Pedro next door, which has no laundry facilities. I asked the owner if it was possible to use his wash machine (because it was too late in the day to wash by hand) and line dry my clothes and he welcomed me to use all, including the nice kitchen and community areas. Very kind, good facilities from what I saw/used, and I would recommend this place in the future to other travelers.
Very nice place to stay, the owner Patrick is very friendly, and after we discoverd we have hobby in common, we had a nice conversation, the albergue is also very nice and clean
