I booked a room but mistakenly thought I failed to do so on website of Hostal Camino de Santiago. Then I took taxi to treat my feet problem on Camino de Santiago till the host sent message to ask when we will arrive. This is totally my mistake and my responsibility to pay for their loss. 🥲 Actually I want to thank her kindly understanding and forgiving, she didn’t ask for anything. I must come back to here some other day. This is a nice and thoughtful hostel for pilgrims walking Camino de Santiago 🙏 But as a pilgrim, please do confirm your arrival 2 days before if any schedule changes.😅
We stayed in a triple room, which is very small. This Hostal offers very basic service, no tea or coffee. Wifi signal is so weak that it doesn’t work in the room. Bath towels provided are old and discoloured. The shower cube is missing one glass panel, so water splashing outside. The worst part is that both my friend and myself got rashes on our arm and leg from some sort of bug bites after sleep.
Located in an old pilgrims hospital in Fromista, Hostal Camino de Santiago offers private rooms that are of medium size but sufficiently clean and equipped. The service is kind and warm. No breakfast is available. Recommended
The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were really nice - there are no food options here, but there are excellent restaurants 2 minutes away - it's also a five minute walk to the center to catch the bus to Burgos - this is a very good option coming off trail
Room was like that of my 90yr old incontinent granmothers house & had the same smell. The lady got quite agressive when we asked for our deposit back and had to give her 20 euros to get our 50 euros back despite not even bringing our suitcases onto the property!(No Wi-Fi or TV!) It looks nice & is in an ideal location but if only we had "smellavision! " State old persons Granny house with that musty old wee smell. Such a shame as its right in the centre of town. We found excellent accommodation & restaurant facility's for only 10 euro per night more with TV & Wi-Fi in bedroom. Breakfast buffet was 6.95 & Choice of Menue for eve at 15.95 Inc bottle wine. Happy days and lovely food.
