Albergue de Lorca

I stopped here for lunch when I needed to rest my bad leg I’d injured about an hour prior. When I got up, I could barely walk. The owner insisted I stay the night and was incredibly kind and attentive throughout. Dinner was exceptional and good value, wine was offered generously, and the place was fantastically clean. My clothes were even washed without charge. Being forced to stop here instead of anywhere else was a real stroke of luck and a silver lining of my injury.

Thank you so much already for the amazing food, clean clothes with clean smell’ it is really needed after walking so much. The shower is really hot and good pressure’ all what a pilgrim need 🙌 best food we ever had from Saint Jean! The gaspacho and the beef were amazing 🥹

Jose and Sang are the best hosts and are amazing beautiful souls, if I could give more stars I would!!! They treat everyone like family and run around making sure everyone is looked after and feel cared for. For those travelling the Camino you definitely need to add this Albergues to your stopping list. Hospitality is second to none, the food is all fresh (so fresh) and the portions are huge!! Sang even did our washing!!! The views are spectacular from our room!

We stayed in the private room with two beds and it was absolutely perfect. I had the best night sleep since a few days ago. The service, the food and the quality of it all exceeded my expectations. I totally recommend this place. I’m sorry I did not take pictures but my phone’s battery died and wasn’t able to take any pictures when I arrived.

Best lunch my entire Camino. You must stop here!! The homemade OJ is best on the planet, had lentil soup and Spanish Tortilla ( like a breakfast casserole). Owners are so friendly and take pride in their food!
