5 / 5 What a beautiful place to stay. They have salt and bowls for your feet’s. The owners and the bar staff, Magi, are beautiful souls - they helping with everything and they are funny persons. Magi danced with us to latino music and teaches us. A wonderful atmosphere.
3 / 5 This is a public cafe/restaurant and also an albergue. The mixed salad was ok, but it cost $12.50 Euros for a small salad; in all other places I’ve been to on the camino, a mixed salad is 8 Euros and is huge. There was a lot of price gouging on the food because this seemed Ike the only place in town to buy food. This is my fourth Camino - El Norte, El Portugués Central, and El Inglés were my first three. I mention this to indicate experience with prices on the caminos de Santiago. Good things: The waitress was nice and she offered me bread for the salad. She let us fill our bottles with cold clean water that she had for pilgrims. The place seemed clean.
5 / 5 This was the most amazing place ever. We did not actually stay here, because we already had a reservation somewhere else . but along the way we stopped and met magi because of her great energy we decided to go back and have dinner. This was one of the best experiences we had on the Camino!
Our dinner tast, and definitely l better than the average program fare, but really Maggie was a superstar here how she juggled checking in people, dealing with grumpy pilgrims, , and getting the dinner served at the same time . She is like a woman beyond compare. !!!$
5 / 5 Highly recommend!! The host was very sweet. Fair prices, authentic style, big family dinner, patio terrace, kitchen, free light breakfast. My favorite albergue on the trail so far.
5 / 5 Lorca is between stops but this is a lovely hospitable albergue. I recommend it. Here’s my google review.
“Magi was a standout with exceptional service. She beckoned me into the albergue and offered complimentary food and drinks. El jefe checked me in and took me to the dormitory and gave me a briefing on what works and how.
I slept very well. This is a lovely albergue with lots of atttenrion paid to the small details. The pilgrims dinner was a lovely soup and a main if chicken and rice and a large garden salad (without tuna. Haha)
