Very unpleasant receptionist. We were just about to sit down for a drink and before I went to the toilet. Whilst there the receptionist bangs on the door and when I then open she is furious and wants me to pay 2€. I said that I don’t have money on me right now and so she grabbed my camera and said she would keep it until I come back with the money. I almost felt I had committed a crime for using their toilet before ordering drinks. Sadly I felt very unwelcome and sad that a receptionist is able to treat her customers this bad. Luckily the area has a lot of other restaurants with much better service and friendly atmosphere.
10 minutes to get the attention from the waiter. Ordered a glass of bear that comes 3/4 full only. Then you are asked to pay immediately. You need to go inside to pay by card. Now? Yes, now. Not the best service, nor the price…!
Based on the fact we only slept here. Staff was excellent as we arrived late the night before. Room was clean and spacious with toilet and shower separate (and in general had a modern appearance). The room had a small balcony with picturesque view of the river and bridge where we happily stood out and chatted for some while enjoying the ambience.
What a beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and warm. Best position in town. Next to river
Stayed there two nights before starting the Camino walk, beautiful hotel with friendly accommodating staff and food experience was second to none setting the bench mark for our holiday.
