You can't ask for a nicer place. Just up from the train station and right outside the walled city entrance for the start of the Camino and the Pilgrim Office. The service was perfect and although I can't speak French they were patient and polite. 7min walk in a straight line is a huge supermarket and a sporting goods store so you are well covered.
Nice clean room and comfortable bed, very good service. Quite spacious. Everything I need work well - shower, aircon. I arrived late, just as reception was closing, but Yoric was cheerful and helpful, providing a safe storage space for my bike. Great view from my window.
Clean good single room with bed large enough for two. Closet with hangers. Small side tables. Good size bathroom and shower with hot water and a heater on wall. Small toiletries. Good WiFi. Basic sitting area with shared refrigerator and freezer. Restaurant nextdoor for warm solid meal and drinks.
Great place to stay before starting your Camino. Located just outside the old town walls, short walk to credential office. Helpful staff, cosy rooms, some with views back down the valley. Buffet style breakfast is recommended and good value.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Itzalpea. Nice room. Very convenient to the old town. Good breakfast also. A nice last bit of comfort before commencing our Camino.
