Casa de Amancio in Vilamaior, Lavacolla, was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The rooms were cozy and warm, with a welcoming, homey feel that made it easy to settle in after a day of exploring. We enjoyed unwinding with a lovely glass of wine in the common areas, which were as comfortable and inviting as the rooms themselves. The staff was incredibly helpful, always ready with local tips and ensuring that we had everything we needed. It’s a wonderful spot to experience the charm of Lavacolla, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Quiet and beautiful dining area. The waiter Pedro was super helpful, with excellent taste for food and wine. Highly recommended.

if you find yourself on your way to Santiago or for any other reason.. you must invariably stop in this wonderful place.. where you can breathe love in the preparation of the dishes in the faces, everyone is kind, the prices are very honest, and above all the food is delicious and genuine, and the top coffee.. not to mention how cute all the tables are under the pergola, the blue windows.. I love it ❤️. Rosbri ❤️

We came across this gem on the last day of walking the Camino del Norte. We stopped for lunch which turned out to be outstanding. The service was great and the food delicious, sat outside under the wisteria watching the pilgrims in their final stage of the Camino. It made our last day of walking very memorable. Would highly recommend.

Such a horrible experience. The worst and rudest service on the Camino. We wanna eat something so we tried to find a table when we get in, my friend was so weakness at that time because of raining outside. They didn’t offer us any chairs for seating and my friend looks like nearly died in that space the didn’t ask his situation at all .OK that’s all fine, let’s see what happened next. First time when we approached the seat, the staff shout to us “stop stop stop.”And we don’t know what happened he didn’t explain anything as well just saying stop. But my friend is so weak he really need somewhere for sitting. Second time we stand in front of the seat and wanna ask him first. But the staff just came to ask and speak NONONONONO loudly. We don’t know what happened and we don’t know the reason at all. DO YOU THINK IS POLITE AND FRIENDLY Only “STOP” AND “NO” to your customers ???????????????? My friend really needs a place for take a rest and we already ordered cake and coffee. The still refused to offer us any place for seating. We have NO CHOICE then my friend find a small place in the corner and seat on the floor .One of the male staff go to say “STAND UP STAND UP.”and he said JODER to my friend cuz he thought we don’t understand Spanish. At last he find a table for us outside, but it’s a outside cold table after a lot of HORRIBLE TREATMENT and VERY RUDE SPEECH. He ONLY talk to us“STOP!!!!!” “NO!!!!!!””GET UP!!!!!” But basically we can speak English and español. They don’t welcome pilgrims at all,the waiters shouted to us without any polite and friendly. They seems only welcome some posh people but not pilgrims with dust on the Camino.
