Marta the host is lovely. She speaks good English as well as Spanish and was incredibly welcoming. The shower and bathrooms are the cleanest, nicest ones on the camino. The beds are very comfortable, with linen sheets, and a fresh, soft towel was much appreciated. The communal areas are beautiful. There is a well stocked fridge with a variety of (well priced) drinks so it is easy to take what you need and to feel at home. The dinner is at a restaurant 20 metres away and was very good, one of the best we've had. All the beds have charging plugs and individually fitted lights, which were convenient. The place is relaxing and peaceful. We loved it.
An absolute treat to stay here. The decor cleanliness and facilities are all fantastic. Marta is a wonderful host and gave us a lovely home made meal. She has a great selection of wines. Will definitely try to go back there
Marta is so kind and welcoming! She purchased the space in 2018 and did an amazing job of renovating the building. It is charming and a lovely rest on the Camino!
The best albergue on the Camino. Beautiful place. 150 years old building. Marta, the owner, is the best and nicest and funniest and helpful person on the way. She makes sure you feel great. Clean and new shower and toilet (like in a 5 star hotel). Towels (!) and sheets. Warm and thick blanket. Beds new and great, each with light and power plug. Lockers in the room. Beautiful cozy large and fully equipped open kitchen with living room. Plenty of space for relaxation. Drinks and snacks available. A wonderful and beautiful place. Spiritual and beautiful. All (and even more) of what a pilgrim looks for and makes one happy.
The best stay on the Camino! I cannot recommend this Albergue enough. The host is such a welcoming, warm, kind lady who makes you feel right at home. She speaks very good English so we were delighted to learn all about the Albergue and the restoration process. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are all spotless and spacious. Great hot shower and the beds are very comfortable too. Towels provided. Fantastic attention to detail. Everything feels like new. Fabulous court yard and great spaces to relax after a long day walking. Amazing breakfast, it was like a hotel. A luxurious stay for any pilgrim. Can’t wait to come back here again!!
