4 / 5 Nice albergue with heating during winter!
We were only 2 so we had the large dormitory for us. Single use sheets.
Kitchen fully equipped.
Alberto the hospitalero is very helpful and kind.
Quite clean but could use a deep cleaning of the whole building.
The only downside is the showers as there is no curtain so you see the other person next to you in the mirror when taking a shower...

5 / 5 The municipal hostel in A Cabana is very nice, with a design featuring lots of glass to appreciate the beautiful views. It's spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of beds. It's located in a completely rural setting, so there are no shops or bars nearby. Remember to bring your own food.
In my case, my host was Alberto. He was incredibly kind and speaks Spanish, Italian, and English—he's a real gem. He was there from about noon until 9 pm (I don't remember exactly).
Highly recommended for getting away from it all.
4 / 5 As for the Xunta's public pilgrim hostels, they're great. They reminded me of capsule hotels, but overall the experience was fine. The only problem was that we were literally in the middle of nowhere, with no way to buy anything or go anywhere.
You could buy some food from a man who lived across the street, but I don't recommend it. My friend ate homemade eggs and got salmonella...
1 / 5 Terrible, they're just converted barracks. You have to go outside to get to the kitchen, and the showers are tiny. In short, if it's not absolutely necessary, it's best not to stay overnight.
5 / 5 Very nice hostel! Great for a one-night stay; it has a washer and dryer, as well as a kitchen. There aren't any shops nearby, but the neighbors offer food for pilgrims. The manager, Alberto, is very nice and attentive. Thank you so much!
