2 / 5 We spent one night during our Camino de Santiago. The lady who runs the guesthouse was very pleasant and helpful, but the rooms have been overdue for renovations since 1975. The wallpaper is peeling, the mattresses are 30-year-old springs, and both the furniture and the bathroom are too vintage. I had trouble sleeping at night because there's no insulation from the street, and all the noise permeates the interior. There's a lady who mentions "renovated rooms" in the comments; I don't know if they exist, at least we didn't experience them. The photos speak for themselves. For €45 a night, I think it could use a facelift...
1 / 5 This hostel is very noisy. You can hear everything people are saying from the street from your room. Unfortunately, I can't say the experience was pleasant, but considering the price, the low quality is understandable. The hot water doesn't last long, and breakfast isn't included. The location is fairly central, but the beds are terrible.
5 / 5 We paid €45 per night for a double room. Everything was very clean, and the girl who checked us in was really friendly. The bathroom always smelled of bleach and floor cleaner, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the mattress, which might need replacing. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and it's just a 2-minute walk from the beach. We'll be back.
2 / 5 I've called and the line is busy, and I've also emailed but haven't been able to reach anyone to inquire about rates and availability.
How can I contact this hostel?
4 / 5 A simple guesthouse located in a good spot in Laredo, 5 minutes or less from the Old Town and the seafront. The rooms are average, without luxuries, but they do the job. The price is reasonable and the service from the hostess is excellent.
