We booked a stay based on a truly false website. We called and VERIFIED that we would have a oceanview, a working shower and AC. Instead we had to carry our luggage up three flights of steps. No AC, a 32 inch television with no streaming service, a shower in which the shower head broke while showering. An overpriced dinner with again no AC. A rude and incompetent receptionists whose "solution" was to provide me with a fan of which I had to carry up three flights of stairs. The service was horrific. We had an appointment for two massages and waited for 5 hours in town and then come back to the hotel and was told that our appointment was canceled. Unbelievable and totally would not recommend.
The hotel rooms are basic and BTW you have to pay if you want to use the hotel pool.
I booked through Expedia, which listed it as having a pool. It *does* have a pool but it's €22 per person per visit. It's also listed as having a laundry, which it doesn't. I note that the Booking.com listing which accompanies this Google result says that all the rooms have aircon. This is not true. Furthermore, the roadside rooms are very noisy, so if you want the windows open you've got to contend with the noise from the traffic. Breakfast is just OK. I fished a couple of dead flies out of the juice. I don't know when they got their four stars, but it feels to me like that might need reviewing. (On the upside, Llanes is a beautiful town and well worth a visit).
Nice hotel a short walk from the centre. Large room with a huge balcony that overlooked the car park. Off road parking in a gated car park and even some undercover spaces if you're lucky. Good continental breakfast for €10
