In March, the most evident 16th century aspect of a stay here is COLD. There is heating, but on an eccentric schedule. Staff were very amiable during their limited hours of attendance. The room was nice other than being unheated most of the time. Wifi was "on" but without internet access most of the time (perhaps another way to provide 16th century feel?).
I had to open the windows to obtain fresh air. People in a nearby restaurant were extremely loud until 4.30 am. It was impossible to sleep with the windows open due to the loud voices
Incredible room. It's true that the double bed is actually two single beds pushed together. Still, it was a 10-star room. Decent bathroom, very spacious room with a good window overlooking the main street, in our case. The staff was very friendly upon arrival. It has a minibar, gels, towel changes, etc.
A good experience. We stayed six nights, and it was quiet as there were only six rooms. Despite being centrally located, we were able to sleep because we were able to close the windows when it was chilly. The views were only of the town's rooftops. The service from the receptionist from Díez was excellent.
Very pleasant, small room but with thoughtful touches. Good heating and linens. Very clean. Friendly staff.
