Sometimes you’re faced with tough choices in life—writing a review about this public albergue wasn’t one of them. The receptionist arrived late and didn’t apologize to any of the people waiting. It’s pretty clear she hates her job, and it shows in the quality of her “work,” if you can even call it that. A little later, I went to ask her a question and found her calmly watching a movie on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Then I headed to the kitchen to cook something and—surprise—there wasn’t a single piece of cooking equipment. Not even a kettle to boil water. Someone really needs to explain the point of a “kitchen” where you can’t actually cook, because I honestly don’t get it. And the best part? The nearest grocery store is 3 km away on foot—perfect when you’ve already walked 25 km under the sun, you’re tired, and the last thing you want is more walking. And to top things off, when I went out after taking a shower, I saw her just chilling at the reception with her son. You can’t make this up. At this point, she was collecting trashy behavior like Infinity Stones and speed-running her way through them. This public albergue is clearly either completely broke, terribly managed, or both. One good point—maybe the only one—is that there was no problem getting hot water in the shower. I honestly cannot recommend stopping here unless it’s absolutely your last option.

Stayed 21/06/25 - Quiet and clean Albergue on the roadside, we were the first to arrive and only had to share the dorm of 18/20 with one other pair. We couldn’t book but arrived just as they were opening. Nice afternoon watching the pilgrims pass. Gave us a chance to clean up before heading to Santiago in the morning. The path after this Albergue is through woodland so if you set off early in the dark, make sure your torch is charged

My son and I had a great sleep for staying here. It’s super clean and cozy. We stayed here in a big rainy day. The host kept us warm. There is no restaurant around here in early April. Only one pizza shop can ask for delivery. Although we only ate our own food finally, we loved this place a lot! Thank you and highly recommended!

This is an Albergue in the true Camino style at it best. Good service, food, facilities location run by the best people you can get. Do not walk past this one. Do not be fooled by its plain look from the outside. Go in have a look. Plan to stay a night here. You will not be sorry.

Nicely spaced out beds with personal lights and a USB point underneath (although this isn’t obvious). Sadly no blankets which means doors and windows stay closed and it then smells. A modern kitchen has NO utensils - absolutely none so couldn’t even make a cup of tea. Also beware the bar/restaurant next door was not open in the evening and the restaurant back 1km did not open its kitchen until 8pm
