Awesome family run bar/restaurant , extremely helpful to pilgrims , can get busy at lunchtimes between local workers and pilgrims but that's to be expected from such a great establishment for food ..
No food was being served at 12:00—I didn’t know that. I just needed a place to sit and take a break before continuing to walk. I only had a drink here.
This albergue resraurant staff refused to serve drinks or lunch to pilgrims, but local men. Just ignoring all the pilgrims, Spanish or not. We Stood at the bar, for 10 plus minites, but all 4 black uniformed males ignored all of us, who are 3 different groups, but served 4 locals who entered after us. Stay away from these numb people.
If you are a local construction worker, ordering a three course meal, this is your place. If you are a pilgrim just looking for a snack, they are not interested in you business.
Honestly I would rather wrap barbwire around myself and roll down hill than eat in here again, One waiter in paticular was so horrible to all the pilgrims he was serving but not the locals slamming doors sneezing everywhere then tried overcharge us ,we could not wait to get out of there.
