Pensión Prada

We (a couple) paid €15 each for a very pretty, clean private room with a very nice bathroom that we didn’t have to share with anyone as there were not many other people staying there. There’s lots of lovely outdoor space to smoke, play cards, etc. Breakfast is included at the Bar Gayo opposite and the chef lady was so kind and accommodating of vegans. Dinner was generous and nutritious. The man running the gaff was very chill and accommodating which was a relief after staying at an albergue in Cudillero where the host was incredibly hostile and surveyed us constantly. There’s nothing in this area apart from the bar so if you need supermarkets or sightseeing activities then it’s not what you’re looking for. But otherwise I would recommend highly, especially to pilgrims.

Extremely friendly and lovely owner. The pension is managed by the same people of the Bar Gayo, where you can have a good meal with menú deal. Breakfast, even if very simple, comes included in the price. For the people walking the camino it is a greatly recommended stop.

Excellent stop along the Camino del Norte. Beds were 15 for peregrinos and the dinner was at the bar down the road for 12. The dinner is hearty and breakfast is included while we were here. The Internet is great and the rooms are 2 beds apiece. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this stop along the route.

Great place to stay! Wonderful family that run the pension and local bar. The landlady went out of her way to make us feel at home and after forgetting a rain jacket, even drove to meet us to return it in next town. Great people!
