This is the perfect location - 3 minutes to the Cathedral and lots of food options. Clean and comfortable. First time staying with no reception - its all good. Just stayed 1 night, but would definitely stay again.
Perfect place after you have finished the Camino. 2 minutes from the square and I was allowed to drop my bags off early to go to midday mass. They even reached out once the room was cleaned if I wanted to check in early.
The location is amazing! Very close to the old town, many restaurants, the cathedral and shops! The prices are fair. The hotel rooms are located on top of a small coffee or bar. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy but only until 10 pm. Apart from this the bar is a pleasure. They provide snacks to your beers which are formidable and we experienced the staff as very nice. Rooms, especially the towels and bedsheets could be a bit cleaner as I discovered stains here and there. Which was not ideal especially some sticky dirt on the towel. But it was nothing major and not a reason to avoid it. Room service was provided daily!
We stayed here for 2 nights at end of our Camino. Location is perfect since it is about 5 minutes away from the cathedral and pretty safe since it’s in front of the police headquarters. Amenities were also complete and very comfortable.
I love this place! Isn’t a famous cafe-bar in the city, but is one of my favorite. I’m always well received and the food is good. When I arrived in the morning in Santiago airport I use to go straight there to eat my breakfast, read newspapers and then start with a beer and then visit my special spots in the old city.
