The room was dismally small I could barely move. Although it seemed clean, I did check the bed because there had been prior report of possible bugs and did not see anything. My windows opened to a courtyard that smelled like fish and the room smelled like cleaning fluid so it was tough. The person at the desk was gruff and very unhelpful in general. I had to get a taxi for the day after to the airport and was told that there was going to be a race so that I had to leave for the airport two hours before I needed to in order to get there! I know that wasn’t the hotel‘s fault. It was noisy. I was right next to the elevator and I feel like because I was a solo traveler I didn’t get a very good room. The bed was hard. The pillow was horrible. There are so many places to stay in SDC I would never consider staying here again.
There's no one at reception after 16:00 so they give you a code to get in. We arrived, and the floor was disgusting, covered in long hair. It had obviously not been swept or vacuumed. Our only option was to whatsapp someone who was very slow to respond, and it wasn't possible to have someone clean it. The room and especially the bathroom stinks of mildew. What a disappointment when you just want to relax after a long day. If you can get a cheap price and have low standards, this is ok for a quick stopover (one night), but this is highly disappointing when you want to have even a marginally nicer experience.
Ok place to stay, 2 star is about right grading but bathrooms are fabulous, power shower and hot. Rooms are sparten but new so clean, beds comfy but rooms are noisy, hear neighbours and a gym with pump class blasting out.
Very close to St. James cathedral. Our room was small but functional. The climate system made a burning rubber smell, however. There was a lot of noise with the windows open due to the feast of St. James festivities nearby. Not the inn's fault, but we would have appreciated a fully functioning climate system. The twin beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, and the water was hot. This inn does not serve breakfast, but it's possible to get vouchers for a another nearby inn that serves breakfast.
Rooms comfortable. Such a cute place. Most comfortable bed i had over 7 hotels in 10 days. But right near the college. So if air conditioning not working =no sleep. But it was evident college kids don't need sleep! Come 3am and a 630am flight I was not happy.
